For Summative Assessment: Students will take a test covering everything that was taught in the unit. Images and word banks are provided on the worksheet. Students will be able to use their ABC and "common words" cheat sheet, to help them sound out and spell. Make sure to tell students that the 5Ws are stated as a reminder and give an example of how they can be used. For example, ask yourself, "Who do you see in the photo? What are they doing?" You can also write these questions on the board to help them describe the photos.

The teacher will read each question aloud and state the expectations without giving the answer. For longer sentences, the teacher can read them aloud, or they can use Google Translate, depending on time.

The student must score at least 3/5 to pass the test. Half credit will be awarded if missed on the multiple responses to questions 1, 3, & 4.
